• John Smith takes Wade under his wing, at the same time opening up about his Dark and Troubled Past, eventually up to a Heroic Sacrifice. It's all mixed with a lot of Tear Jerker, for one of the most solid applications of the Rule of Drama in Hollywood, possibly all of fiction.
