Go To

  • Shu Yanyan expressing genuine sympathy and concern about Baili Qingmiao's relationship with Hè Wenzhao and telling her that she deserves better than him.
  • Baili Qingmiao, even after learning that her trusted master "Qingxue" is a demonic cultivator hated by her sect, recognizes that Qiu Congxue, even if she was highly eccentric and not actually a righteous cultivator, still spent over thirty years teaching her when she could've easily killed her or done her harm and she refuses to go along with Hè Wenzhao's plan to capture and kill her.
Baili Qingmiao: When it comes to using Master Qingxue's debt of gratitude, using her trust towards me to harm her, Baili Qingmiao is unwilling!
    • In addition, when Qiu Congxue learns that Baili Qingmiao's sect responded to her refusal to betray her master by tying her up and leaving her hanging over the Blood Hell as bait, her immediate response is to fly as fast as she can to the Blood Hell to rescue her, proving that she truly does care for her disciple.
  • Wenren È confessing his love for Yin Hanjiang to Baili Qingmiao.
Wenren È: That's why I wanted to say it to you clearly, because I want him to understand. Whether it's the reserved Yin Hanjiang, or the reckless and carefree Yin Hanjiang, this Venerable will love them both. Yin Hanjiang is Yin Hanjiang. He need not hide himself.
  • Wenren È, after seeing that Yin Hanjiang is extremely reluctant to let him see the worst of his memories inside his mind, doesn't force him to reveal them to him and instead lets him see his own worst memories alongside with him. Even though a lot of these memories are traumatic, Yin Hanjiang doesn't leave his side once throughout and even gains a newfound appreciation and empathy for Wenren È as not the invincible and unapproachable lord he had been seeing him as but the damaged human boy who went through hell in his adolescence but still retained his compassion for mortal lives and desire to protect them.
