Heartwarming / Davy Crockett (1954)

• Davy spares Red Stick, who seems to warm up to Davy as they shake hands.
• Davy demures when asked to be magistrate since he wants to focus on building a home. But then he sees the plight of Charlie Two-Shirt and his family, who have been run off their land by racist thugs, and decides to take the job on the spot and get them their land back. Charlie repays Davy by shooting a man who was about to shoot him.
• When Bigfoot Mason asks, "Since when is Davy Crockett a friend of Indians?" Davy says, "Always been a friend of the Cherokee. Got no bones to pick with the [Creek] since we signed the peace with 'em."
• Georgie comes back to the Alamo, with no reinforcements coming and no hope of survival, just for Davy.
