Heartwarming / Cuties

• Angelica befriending Amy out of sympathy for her loss. The two engage in friendly activities together like eating a lot of gummy bears, having a pillow fight, and exchanging their bad dreams or fears, all of which any young girl can see themselves doing with their best friend.
• The Cuties finally accepting Amy as part of their group, having a fun time together blowing their parents' money on materialistic clothes and playing laser tag at an arcade, genuinely getting along with each other. Their behavior is admittedly questionable, but observing their Heterosexual Life-Partners dynamic and seeing them finally consider Amy one of them makes it heartwarming to watch.
• The ending, where Amy's mother overcomes her grief and attends her husband's wedding to play her duties as a wife in polygynous culture, while Amy realizes that she didn't need to go through a promiscuous phase just to gain popularity, leaving the Cuties and happily playing jump rope with neighbors kids as she reaches the sky with a huge smile once the movie ends.
