Heartwarming / Bowser Jr.'s Journey

• Morton's attempts at helping Bowser Jr can come off as this. All he knows is that "Small Bowser" is important and he'll do whatever it takes to support him even if Jr himself doesn't want it.
  • On a related note, when you first gain Morton's Shield ability, Bowser Jr. yells at him to move out of his way and shows no concern for him. This eventually changes to Bowser Jr. cheering Morton on.
  • In spite of yelling at him earlier, Bowser Jr. still calls Morton his buddy after the BFF force-feeds him Maltone Formula X. Keep in mind this is before his character development kicks in.
• Despite the Koopalings not canonically being Bowser's kids, they still treat Junior like a little brother.
• When the Mario Bros. and Bowser Jr confront each other in Blubble Lake, they get ready to fight each other, not knowing they are on the same side. However, Starlow convinces the Bros that they have better things to do by getting the Star Cure. Shortly after the Bros and Starlow leave the screen, however, she goes back to Jr, who doesn't know that the Bros have been helping his father from inside his body and that Starlow has been serving as their messenger using the name of Chippy, and tells him that Bowser's been working hard. Although it comes after a funny moment, it's surprisingly nice to see Starlow essentially acknowledge Bowser Jr's side of the story.
• Kamek being the one to get Junior to realize the importance of his troops. Having been Bowser's right-hand advisor since Bowser was Junior's age, it makes sense.
• Bowser Jr.'s Character Development in general: Whilst he initially does not care about the Koopalings and even encourages them to leave at times, he practically does a 180 during the second half of the game to the point that he refuses to leave Lemmy and Larry behind when they run off to help Giant Bowser and even risks his life to save them when they're at risk of being crushed unknowingly by the Tower of Yikk or the gigantic Bowser.
• Iggy (or rather, "Charlie") and Kuzzle's relationship can be pretty sweet, even if it was over the course of a single afternoon.
