  • A bittersweet one, but once the initial shock of discovering he had a son passed, Matt couldn't bring himself to take Peter away from May Parker since she obviously loved him and was a model guardian.
    • Also, Matt's reaction to his son's friendship with Ned Leeds was completely adorable. "He's got his own Foggy!" Foggy is obviously flattered.
  • Foggy establishing the perfect strategy for Jessica to retrieve Peter's custody back from Child Services and verbally trashing Matt's self-doubt and insecurities about fatherhood. Of course, he wants for his best friend to be happy outside of Daredeviling... but mainly, he's so invested in the case because of Peter, a little boy who really, really needs someone on his side right now. Well, kid, don't you worry anymore, because Foggy's got your back.
    • Karen gives a pep-talk to Jessica, pointing out that no parent is ever perfect, but being willing to act in the child's best interest is already half the battle won. Then she proceeds to adorkably squee that she's a godmother now and needs to buy so much birthday presents.
  • Like many adopted kids, Peter often wondered about his birth mother. What she looked like. How she sounded like. The kind of person she was. Then, when his life has completely fallen apart, she comes back. She's named Jessica, and she's beautiful, and she brought Peter's birth father with her, and both of them want him back. The scene when he's introduced to them is fittingly emotionally powerful.
    • After seven years of secretly fearing he was abandoned at birth because something was wrong with him, Peter learns his mother actually wanted him and had to let him go only to protect him from a very bad man. But she never ceased to miss her baby boy.
  • Peter's favourite hero is Iron Man because of the science. The second is Daredevil.
  • Peter's first night with his dad. From him charming Foggy to cuddles on the couch, and the ultimate cuteness: Matt rocking his seven-year-old back to sleep while singing a Catholic hymn about "my treasure, highest in my heart". You know he's not referring to God.
  • Crossed with Awesome, Jessica's determination to not let her many issues screw up her son. Also, she can't believe the number of people congratulating her when they learn why she suddenly makes so many changes in her life.
    • Vido being completely chuffed over the fact there's going to be a new kid in the building. Not only is he Jessica's son, but he's also not going to groan over Vido playing at Captain America since Peter prefers Iron Man!
    • "Hi, Peter. It's nice to finally meet you." After carrying his guilt over destroying Jessica's happy future for almost four years, Malcolm finally gets to see that story progressing towards a happy resolution.
  • The Peter Parker Protection Squad. All of the Defenders, reunited to coo and gush over one tiny, adorable little boy.
  • Ned's unwavering assurance that yes, Peter's parents do love him, and won't stop loving him just for having superpowers: after all, even if they were absent for Peter's early childhood, they came back when he really needed them.
  • For Hallowe'en night, Iron Baby and the Justice League are prowling the streets! Even Tony Stark succumbed to the cuteness when he saw the video on Twitter.
  • Jessica isn't happy when she finds her kid playing with a blind stray dog, but when the neglectful owners cruelly refuse to take the dog back, she immediately adopts the animal. Peter is overjoyed.
  • Frank Castle agreeing to protect Peter when Karen calls him about the Serial Killer currently roaming Hell's Kitchen, who might target the boy.
    • And when Karen's fear comes real, the Punisher not only prepares to track the kid, he's also ready to forgo the kill as he can't bring himself to force a small boy to watch his usual brutality.
    • Castle even goes so far as to listen to Peter when they find the metal-armed man who attacked them now calmly stroking the dog he injured in his earlier attack, instead taking the man back to New York with them as Peter can see that their former attacker isn't quite in control of himself.
  • Bucky manages to break through his conditioning somewhat to remember his mother and Sarah Roger. When Peter notices him crying, he comforts him and promises to help him. Frank was right; Peter is adult kryptonite.
