• After his outburst before the wedding, Lance comes to Frankie to apologise and sings a very heartfelt rendition of Shape of My Heart, before giving his consent to Frankie and May's relationship. Notably, he is completely unfazed by May's gender identity, and is just glad that his son has found someone who makes him happy.
• Shakespeare and Anne's reconciliation at the end:
