Why does John listen to Claire's note?
  • At this point John has ditched Claire as a friend and "replaced" her so why would he trust her enough to follow the note? The confrontation could have taken place anywhere, so John didn't need to follow the note for the plot to make sense. But when he gets a very suspicious note from her, he follows it - no questions asked. Why would he do that? Is there something I'm missing?
    • Remember that John at this point in time is very self-centered. During the New Bostin period, John didn't think he did anything wrong. With that kind of logic, there would be no reason for anyone to betray him. In fact, he probably didn't THINK he could even be betrayed, considering how egotistical he was.
