  • Something doesn't add up for me regarding the timeline and the loop length of the campers. It's been established that the two protagonists left the cult almost 10 years ago. They get the tape shortly before the next loop. On their return to the camp, Justin notes the members look 20 years younger than they should. They should be in their 40s. — What does that tell us about the loop length of the cult members? Can we infer that the loop length is 10 years? Mind that no matter how many times they looped after Justin and Aaron left 10 years ago, they should only be looking 10 years younger. Can anyone make sense of this?
    • On rewatch it turns out Shitty Carl says the camps loop is 10 years. I guess the camp must have gone through two loops already when Justin and Aaron joined the first time so that they would look 20 years younger at the end of the current loop.
  • What would happen if one of the members of the Camp killed themselves before the 10-year loop is up? Would they immediately be resurrected by the entity? Would the entity reset the loop for everyone?
  • What enjoyment does the entity get out of keeping that one man trapped in a loop that lasts a few seconds? Him dying repeatedly in that short amount of time isn’t nearly enough time to tell a “story” like everyone else the entity has trapped.
    • Keep in mind that the idea of "enjoyment" is something the captives came up with as an explanation for their lot. For all we know, the loops may serve no reason at all.
