Where does humanity start and end?
  • The story is fairly specific that the protagonist will only live human lives. But who is the first human? Humans evolved gradually from earlier forms of life, stretching way back to single-celled organisms over billions of years. Are there any other God fetuses that experience other forms of life in this universe?
    • Most likely not. If I had to guess, God chose an arbitrary cut-off point-invoking the Sorites Paradox will not do us any good.
      • The obvious answer is that if a creature is the protagonist, that creature is human. The division between human and non-human could be empirically defined even if we didn't understand the criteria involved.
    • Considering the idea of the Universe being an egg, maybe everything prior to the first Homo Sapiens evolving was the equivelent of a zygote. Though where the cut-off point between the two is is still unknowable.
