Headscratchers / The Day Time Ended

• Where and how does this house get water? They are in the middle of the Southern California desert and it's implied they are far from any city or town, meaning no access to a municipal water supply. On top of that, when we see the house in exterior shots, there's no sign of a windmill or any pumping system.
  • That's your first question after watching this movie?!
    • Other people noticed the lack of a windmill or external pump like this review from Million Monkey Theater.
  • It's entirely possible there's a well and the pump for it is in a utility closet that just isn't shown.
• If Jenny's family has moved there to be closer to family, where is the nearest school she can attend out there in the middle of nowhere?
