• Why was Ryu from Ninja Gaiden in The Simple Plot of Final Fantasy 7? I remember the plot to that game seemed pretty intricate.
  • He may have just been able to sum it up easily. Like how in Player Select the host was able to sum up Metal Gear Solid in a single short sentence.
    • "I'm Ninja Gaiden, I stick on walls and kill demons."
• The song Glass Joe's Title Fight starts out with him saying he's going to the champion fight "next week," but in the next verse, Doc says that "it's four weeks later and it's time for the fight." What happened?
  • They just forgot while writing, but they attempted to (rather comically) Hand Wave it on Twitter as seen here. In-universe one could just say Glass Joe was wrong because of all the head trauma he's taken (which was referenced in the song as well).
  • Doc might have been speaking metaphorically, as if spending one week with Joe and his delusions felt like four. Also Four Is Death .
  • Or the fight kept getting put off by Doc as he kept trying to get Joe ready before giving up.
