• Why is the fifth zone called "Aqua Planet Zone"?
  • Aqua Planet is described in the Japanese manual as a "water planet from another dimension". It's not even an actual part of South Island. It's literally a planet. The bigger question is how it came to be. Did Eggman purposefully open up a dimensional rift to this planet? Did his tampering with the Chaos Emeralds and their scattering open one? Or is it like Little Planet, appearing in Sonic's world without explanation?
