  • Why does Five think there's a dancing cow? We haven't seen it in the show outside of her imagination.
    • Five-year-olds are known to have active imaginations.
    • The Dancing Cow is real, if the audio stories are anything to go by: in "Noisy Night", the Dancing Cow appears as the cow that jumped over the moon.
  • In "Nine Lives" and "Three Things Good", Three uses the Brain Gain for only the first and second times she has been out on missions before and has no such trouble. But, in "Being 3", this is her third go at it, and she sounds like she's struggling. Why?
    • Lack of a partner/being unsure of herself? In "Nine Lives", she had Six to rely on for help, and in "Three Things Good", being out on her own might have given her a confidence boost.
  • Why is Spooky Spoon’s mouth hollow in the first season? Is it just some odd design choice?
  • If Zero and One are babies, how come they don't wear nappies?
    • The other Numberjacks aren't seen wearing underwear, or any other clothes. It's possible they never need to use the toilet, so the younger Numberjacks wouldn't need to wear nappies, before they're toilet trained.
  • In "The Dreaded Lurgi", the Agents have to help because Five is on a mission and Three, Four, and Six are sick with the titular disease. Zero, One, and Two would probably be too young to help, but why aren't Seven, Eight, and Nine helping?
    • Well, in "May The Fours Be With You", Eight mentions he has "A big mission to go on". In "Seven Wonders", Seven mentions she has a painting job. And in "1, 2, 3, Go", Nine mentions she's making sure a cat has all nine of its lives. Maybe the bigger Numberjacks were just out on their own missions.
  • A minor one, but it's still a mystery. During "Boxing Day", Six tells Five that this mission could be one for her to sort out, but she sounds reluctant to go. Why?
    • Low self-confidence, most likely. A subtle reminder that the characters' numbers roughly correspond to their ages and that Five wants to defer authority to an older number, in this case Six.
  • If the Numberjacks' numbers correspond to their ages, do they go up a number on their birthdays?
    • What would happen to Nine if they can only be singular numbers? Does she die?!
      • We see Four turn temporarily into Fourteen, so probably not.
    • How would a new Zero be born?
    • Now this is THE big question.
  • What would happen if someone took a sample of the Problem Blob's goo?
    • Depending on how careful they are, either they would be affected by whatever problem he's causing this time, or London's labs would have a field day analyzing that stuff.
  • When Five and Three go on a mission in "In, Out, Shake It All About" and "Getting Heavy" (but not in "The Container Drainer"), how come their launcher song states they're going out “just for once”, when they go on three missions before Three graduates to doing them solo?
  • Could there be more Numberjacks out there? After all, In "Into The Teens" Four briefly turns into Fourteen, indicating that multi-digit Numberjacks exist.
