- Wasn't there law enforcement on some level in this town? Didn't someone have to be deputized as sheriff or wasn't there a US Marshall that oversaw the town? Perhaps someone like that could have regulated the dispute between the kid and the teenage cowboy or Mc Cabe and the three hired guns.
