Headscratchers / Leisure Suit Larry 2: Looking for Love (in Several Wrong Places)

Go To

  • Larry wins a million dollars a year for life from that lottery show at the start of the game. How come during the game or in the later games he never has to pay taxes to tax collectors? In Real Life, anyone winning lotteries have to pay taxes on their winnings.
    • Larry is no longer living anywhere in America after the game. Or it is possible that the real prize was over a million dollars and the extra money was withheld by the show, leaving Larry with exactly a million after withholdings. Also, the lottery went bankrupt at the end of the game. Finally, it is also possible Chief Ken paid off whatever taxes were necessary while Larry was his son-in-law between the second and third games.
  • This is Fridge Logic here: if Larry gets captured by KGB agents and dragged in front of an interrogator, he gets tortured until he tells him where the onklunk is that they want. But Larry has it in his inventory from early on in the game. Why does Larry just not give them the onklunk to stop the torture?
    • Simple. The onklunk extractor is an EVIL EVIL EVIL EVIL EVIL EVIL EVIL EVIL monster that will torture him to death even if he does so.
