  • Why does the player character turn facing the opposite direction of the enemy when casting Supernova+ Gula's special attack?
    • Master Gula's animal motif is a leopard. It is stated that big cats like leopards, tigers, lions, etc. tend to attack someone from behind when their back is turned. If not, it is merely a coincidence or programming goof.
  • I'm confused. Do the events of Union X take place (chronologically) after the Keyblade War, or before it (after the last quest of Unchained X)?
    • It happens chronologically after, since the Union Leaders are intentionally suppressing the memories that the Player has of the Keyblade War. They just didn't know that the Master of Masters had set up that the Dandelions would be locked in to a data version of the World, or that the data and real versions of Daybreak Town would only last until the last of the lifeboat pods were used to escape to the new worlds created in the aftermath of the War.
  • Why is Aced named after "acedia", which is Latin for sloth? With all the other Foretellers, and even the Master of Masters, their Seven Deadly Sins naming convention fits with their characters, but with Aced, he's not lazy in the slightest. He's always diligent in his tasks, even after the Master is put on a Broken Pedestal, and as shown by his determination to outdo Ira and form an alliance, he's the Foreteller who's willing to take the most initiative. One could say that it was a sick practical joke on the Master's end, but even if that were true, why would he do so when his all-seeing eye is dead set on the future's destiny, and went as far as to chronicle such truths in the Book of Prophecies? Aced being lazy is not a truth whatsoever.
    • The Master of Masters doesn't actually care about "truth". I don't think he would avoid at all costs fudging the naming of his apprentices if that would mean giving up on his epic seven deadly sins motif. Alternatively, it may refer to things we simply don't know about Aced yet, since he's going to remain a character in the story.
  • Something that's been bugging me for a while. Apparently, there was an earlier Keyblade War when the Master of Masters was a child. And, as we learn in the final quest of Union X, there were originally 13 Darkness entities, same number as when the X-Blade was shattered. What I would like to know is: Was the X-Blade shattered during the original War, or the one the Player fights in?
    • This is deliberately ambiguous - certainly the X-Blade is never mentioned when X's war is going on. One thing worth noting is that Nomura originally said that to depict the Keyblade War, they would need "high-end hardware", which the X games are certainly not running on. Who knows if Nomura will ever get the chance to actually do that, but we can say for sure he has not yet depicted what he originally wished to depict.
