  • Is the advisor a character from the comics?
    • He is the Psycho-Pirate. The cast announcement referred to him as "Charles Halstead/Advisor". Charles Halstead was the original Psycho-Pirate. However this version has the original's name but possesses the second version's (Roger Hayden) powers without the aid of his signature Medusa Mask, which usually serves as the source of his power.
  • How will Iris react if she ever sees a name on the ring Flash gave her?
    • Barry already told her about the events of the movie by the time that happens, he could just tell her the story behind the ring and presumably they could remove the engraving at a jeweller's or something. Iris is a reasonable person.
    • Not to mention, it came from a man who heroically died defending others and given to Barry by a superheroine/Amazon princess who urged him to propose. Iris might be very pleased to have those names.
  • How did Flash know that Clark Kent is Superman? They didn't seem that close in the present.
    • I don't think that he did know, although his Superman might have revealed that he was raised in the Midwest by his adopted parents without any more details than that. What he did know was that he already felt like he knew "Shakespeare" from the moment that they met, and I think that seeing the flattened bullets was the final piece of the puzzle. It just took a moment for it to click, and the Clark revealing his human name was irrelevant to that.
  • Why doesn't Hourman share his formula to make a whole army of hourmen?
    • Some versions of Hourman state that the Miraclo only works properly on Rex Tyler (Hourman's civilian identity) and his family; Hourman basically can't adapt the formula for mass use, even if it would be safe to give out that kind of strength to everyone.
