• If Hecubah's spell needs to be reapplied every day and leaves Margaret as she normally is once she goes to sleep each night, why didn't one of the mice try waking her up during that time and take her somewhere where Hecubah and Tulip wouldn't be able to find her?
  • Since it's implied the spell is contained in the makeup that's applied to Margaret, before she goes to sleep, her being woken in the night wouldn't accomplish much once it takes effect the next morning, since the mice wouldn't be able to convince her to remain in hiding.
• If Margaret is the princess of the castle, then who is the girl dressed like a stereotypical princess (the one who gets turned into a mouse) supposed to be?
  • Probably a lower-ranked noblewoman or some such.
