Headscratchers / Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb

Go To

  • The game has Indiana Jones discover Emperor Qin Shi Huang's tomb for the first time, which Indy specifically remarks by acknowledging that he is gonna be the first man who enters into the Emperor's Tomb. Has Indy forgotten how he visited the tomb one year ago in Max McCoy's Indiana Jones and the Secret of the Sphynx?
  • As shown in the game's journal, Indy became aware of Albrecht Von Beck thanks to RenĂ© Emile Belloq, the baddie of Raiders of the Lost Ark, warning him sometime before the game's events. Why doesn't Indy mention that Belloq helped him?
  • How does Mei Ling become aware that Kai Ti Chang planned to backstab the Nazis? Don't recall he ever told her or hinted that he would do so in her presence.
  • Indy meets with Wu Han seemingly for the first time here, as Mei introduces him as a friend of hers. Again, as seen in Max McCoy's novels, Indy knew Wu Han long before this game, so why do the two act as they haven't met before?
  • So... what happened to the Feng Twins? Last time they are seen, they had gotten their butts kicked by Indy and they aren't nowhere to be seen when Chang and his men sneak into the Emperor's Tomb.
  • Throughouth the whole game, Chang points out that he wishes to take over China with the Heart of the Dragon. Really, just that? Both Mei and Von Beck point out that the Heart of the Dragon can control all men's will and allow its user to take over the world. Why does Chang seem to be just fine with taking over China if he can expand on his power?
  • In the Emperor's Tomb, why is Von Beck the only Nazi exploring the tomb. Didn't he come accompanied? Chang never fired him nor his men.
  • If the game takes place just days before Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, why isn't Short Round nowhere to be seen? Hadn't he meet Indy yet?
