"Space Babies"
- If Jocelyn didn't want to see the babies die, why would she have cameras set up to observe them in detail?
- Probably to make things less personal. She cares about them, so would need some way of making sure they are OK, but doing it such that there are no person-person interactions presumably makes anything bad less traumatic.
"The Devil's Chord"
- If the First Doctor and Susan were living in London at the same time that the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby were fighting the Maestro, why wasn't the First Doctor out fighting the Maestro? Wouldn't he have been aware that music had been disappearing from the world for almost three decades?
- It's possible he didn't care. Remember that in his early travels, 1 only really fought the bad guys because some sort of circumstances put them in the way of him leaving. It is only from his exposure to Ian and Barbara that he developed the moral code that would drive him to be the hero we know.
- Alternatively it's possible that because they were already in place, the changes to time affected them as well.
