Why didn’t that beam go back in time as well? Jyn should have died while talking to Raddus.

** [[spoiler: They explained that with TheReveal: the Emperor transfused Anakin's midichlorians into Padme, a process we already know is possible because that's how Jim!Qui-Gon gave Anakin Force powers in the first place.]]

** They probably assumed that the title was just another twist on the old "talk softly and carry a big stick" quote. Chirruts staff looks a bit like a really long katana in that comic, and they both apologized in comic #1557.

*** R2D2 is able to hack the Peace Moon, calculate a trajectory in space to intercept and retrieve the Lost Orb (a '''delicate''' sphere less than a feet wide) and a lot of skills and abilities that are only worthless because the DM plots him to be in places where he cannot exploit these skills. In the hands of a GM who would put him where he could use his abilities at the fullest, he would be truly TERRIFIC. So Pete is doing the right thing: Keeping R2D2 away from other's hands!

** Most likely metamorphosis, but perhaps with a side order of shapeshifting. Like, Hutts can have different forms, but rather than shifting around mass like [[Series/StarTrekDeepSpaceNine Odo]] would, they set about altering their physiology to suit what they want.

** Dooku's dying words, "Anakin, I am your f-" could just as easily have been "I am your friend" as opposed to "father".

** He heard "sci-fi space campaign" and assumed "Space Dreadnaughts Bristling With Atomic Missiles," and so made a droid that would be awesome if he was anywhere on one of those. Unfortunately, Star Wars is a rather different animal, so Pete's best use almost never comes up. Also, the GM seems to short-circuiting a lot of Pete's Maxing to keep the campaign fun for everyone else, and Pete doesn't really adapt either because he's just contrary like that or because he's invested too much in things he's really good at (that almost never come up) that he can't branch out into the things that do happen routinely in the campaign. Coming to Minmaxing for Chirrut in ''Rogue One'', and he's much more successful at anticipating a character who could break that adventure in half.
