Telling the cops about the key
- At the end of the movie, Becky still has the key Dominick was looking for and even tells the sheriff that the bad guys were looking for a Canadian quarter. But why wouldn't Kayla have told them by this point what the bad guys were looking for?
- Perhaps Kayla's now just as afraid of Becky as she was of Dominick? Becky's lying about the key (along with she and Dominick's We Can Rule Together moment) seem intended to illustrate that Becky is not so different from the murderous convicts she herself brutally murders. In any case, she's demonstrated that she is just as willing to kill and maim as the villains, plus a hell of a lot more creative about it. And she's already made her dislike of Kayla pretty clear.
- It's probably because the last group of people who knew about it were willing to murder & torture to get it & talked about using it so every race could "fulfill their purpose". Letting anyone else (especially cops near a recent prison break) know about it probably isn't a very good idea.
