You're obviously not meant to think too hard about how the Lenape mice are supposed to be able to grow crops underground without any sunlight.
Hell, How are they able to see?
To answer the first question, it's possible they used an artificial light source with some kind of irrigation, and, to answer the second one, well, mice IRL already have pretty cruddy eyesight to start with.
How in the heck are the Native Americans growing crops in an underground cave where there's no sunlight? Where do they get the huge fruits and vegetables we see them feeding Tiger?
To answer a first point, artificial lighting of some kind and, to answer the second point, they probably foraged for them.
