Hannibal Lectures in Fan Works.

Akame ga Kill!
  • Alternate Worlds:
    • After pinning Tatsumi down for the third time, Esdeath attempts to justify her actions with a Social Darwinist speech.
    • Gensei tells Bols and Bulat that warriors cannot have normal lives or families, claiming that they will both eventually get used to killing, even learning to enjoy it.
    • River attempts to make Tatsumi loyal to Esdeath with one, but fails miserably.

Codename: Kids Next Door

  • In Operation: There Is No Operation, KND Soopreme Leader Numbuh 362/Rachel Mc Kenzie and the series Big Bad Father are imprisoned together and Father uses the situation to deliver a mock-sympathizing Hannibal Lecture about how she isn't so different from a parent like him.
But what do kids know of strain, anyway? They don't know a thing. They just play all the time. Even their work is play. Not like your work. Your work... is work. Isn't it?

Crossover

  • Avenger of Steel features Alexander Pierce essentially giving one in the form of an internal train of thought as he reflects on why the Avengers will have to die when HYDRA takes power as they won’t accept HYDRA’s control despite Pierce’s belief that HYDRA rule is needed to save the world.
  • In An Extraordinary Journey, after Lee Adama is turned into a vampire, he delivers a few of these before his soul is restored, most notably provoking Kara into killing Baltar after he tells her about Baltar's role in the destruction of the Colonies.
  • J-WITCH Series: In "Relics of Demons Past", Elyon goes to interrogate the captive Shendu about Drago, and it isn't long before he's getting in her head about how she should be executing Phobos in order to secure her reign. She ends up leaving the room quite disturbed.
  • In The Man with No Name, the Doctor and the Big Bad deliver one to each other.

The DCU

  • In Crisis of Infinite Batgirls, the Joker taunts Stephanie Brown with the idea that she's basically like Harley Quinn in that she and Harley keep going back to their 'abusers', observing that Stephanie keeps trying to go back to the Bat-Family where they keep dismissing her as not quite good enough to do the job. The Joker even mockingly notes that the difference between that and what he does to Harley is that people actually believe that about Stephanie, where Joker is willing to acknowledge that Harley is good enough and he’s just making sure she doesn’t outdo him.

Doctor Who

  • The Master attempts one of these in Broken Faith when revealing that some of the Doctor's companions have basically gone on Suicide Missions trying to damage his control of Earth, but the Brigadier cuts it short by pointing out that the companions haven't become ruthless killers, but are just desperate people taking the only option available to them to hurt the Master and only doing it because they know they won't have to live with the guilt of being pushed that far.

Dragon Age

  • 'Dragon Age: The Crown of Thorns' has the dwarven noble protagonist delivering one in Chapter 5, when he is on trial and completely dominates the entire assembly, throwing Bhelen's pet nobles at each other and completing his epic Zero-Approval Gambit by destroying the focus of the gathering, which means that no one ever got around to questioning exactly why he didn't try to defend the innocence he'd so vehemently proclaimed earlier that day. The reason was because he'd faked Trian's death and wanted to be seen as the murderer. Just as Planned.

Godzilla

  • Abraxas (Hrodvitnon): The Two Beings, One Body San and Vivienne Graham pull this on Alan Jonah. Jonah attempts to psychologically get to Vivienne in person as part of his attempts to break her, but Viv and San turn the tables on him, getting right under his skin by bringing up the death of Asher and how Jonah indirectly caused Asher's death.

Kill la Kill

  • A Minor Miscalculation:
    • Nui enjoys reeling this off, especially after she pieces together who Isshin is while being interrogated. In Chapter 15, she gives an especially cruel one regarding how Satsuki was molested, causing Isshin to snap and violently beat her.
    • Ragyo also indulges in a long one after capturing Isshin.

Kim Possible

  • "Dark Legacy" has Zorpox attempt this on a few occasions, exploiting his intimate knowledge of Kim and Ron’s relationship to play on Ron’s insecurities and Kim’s fears about their relationship.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic

  • The Rise of Darth Vulcan: The titular protagonist is visited in his dreams by Princess Luna, where she roughs him up for his various crimes against Equestria. Vulcan's response is to laugh in her face and play on her insecurities, calling her nothing more than Celestia's goon and her special talent meaningless since Celestia was able to do the same thing. Luna's response is to beat him harder, escape his mind, and spend time isolated in her room.

Naruto

  • The Empty Cage has one given by Kuushou (aka Kyuubi) to Sarutobi. He explains that destroying his body is the worst possible thing Sarutobi could do, as the last time he had broken out of his seal, it had been in the Land of Wind, which promptly turned from a fertile grassland into a barren desert. He further rips him apart by calmly informing him that every death that occurred during his "attack" had been because they attacked him first, as he was bound by law not to attack unless it was in self-defense.
  • Tales From The Blue Sea: Sasuke has Danzou at his mercy inside the Tsukuyomi. Yet somehow, he just can't make the interrogation stick. Segues into a "The Reason You Suck" Speech.
  • True Potential: The brutal Kiri bloodline executioner Karitoriki gives one to Shikamaru while the latter prepares to kill the former via immobilizing him with shadow jutsu, and then sticking explosive tags all over his body. The executioner taunts him, gleefully pointing out that Shikamaru is brutally killing him in revenge for his earlier murder of bloodline users. Karitoriki kills those with bloodlines due to one of them murdering his family when he was young. Thus, he proclaims that he and Shikamaru are exactly the same, laughing manically as Shikamaru detonates the tags just to stop his taunting.

Spyro the Dragon

  • The Portal: Zobek delivers one of these to Blizzard before their final battle.
