* At the Ark of Destiny, the innkeeper is a man named Sion who basically hints he joined the group so that he could get rich quickly. Over the course of the game, he gambles his money away, he tries to go into stocks, he falls for a ponzi scheme, and more, but he keeps in his delusions that he knows the system of capitalism more than anyone else. By the end, he declares himself incredibly lucky because the Ark of Destiny told him that all his living expenses and the debt he's accrued from all his failed get-rich-quick-schemes will go away if he just finds a wife and lives with her for a year.

* A likely unintentional one courtesy of just not having an extra model but, when Jet tries to sneak out of the party early on, the note he tries to leave for them before Werner stops him is in an envelope sealed with a heart-shaped sticker.

** Even better: after helping to deliver the Ark Scepter that was on the train to Halle, Gallows asks her which of the two was the real one. Halle simply stares at him in shame for a second before Shane walks in carrying TWO MORE Ark Scepters. Turns out all four of them are real, and that [[BookDumb Gallows would've known this if he had ever bothered to listen to her lectures]].

* Team Virginia successfully defeats Team Maya at Survey Point #17 and claims both the jewels you were assigned to protect. Maya, with her back turned, warns Virginia not to have the stones touch as they're made of opposite properties and would cause a chain reaction strong enough to explode the whole dungeon. She turns around as she finishes this explanation... only to see that Virginia had been holding them close together since she started the warning and the stones had been glowing the whole time. [[HilarityEnsues Cue escape]], followed by a scene back at the Ark of Destiny where they go over the event in [[LampshadeHanging dubious recounting detail.]]

* When the team goes back to Baskar Colony due to their mediums warning them [[spoiler: of Siegfried and the Prophets]], Granny Hallie goes into a long winded exposition that left them all dozing off. Even Clive, the team archaeologist, admits he lost track of what she was saying (though to his credit, he timed it as three and a half hours long). Then Hallie, who had tried pretty hard staying stoic to everything up until now, friggin ''flips''.

* In one of the earlier dungeons, you encounter a nudie mag. You can't open it until you've found 18 Migrant Seals ([[GuideDangIt which it doesn't tell you about]]), and when you do come back, it's a boss encounter. Once beaten, you can then read the mag with appropriate reactions from the lead character at the time.
** Virginia gets somewhat depressed as she can't help but compare herself to the pictures.
** Jet doesn't get the appeal
** Clive gets somewhat embarrassed by the material, saying that this sort of thing used to appeal to him.
** Gallows, uh...

* In his prologue, Gallows steals a Baskar artifact and hies off to thumb his nose at his fate. He's hooked back into the plot after a short TimeSkip in another town when he reads a newspaper reporting that an item called the Ark Scepter was being shipped by train for display in a museum. His reaction? Hold up the artifact and pretty much ask, "Wait, so what the hell did I just steal?"
