- While briefing Latex Scorpion on her new living situation, Awesome Girl hands her a tracker/communication watch, to which Latex Scorpion reply's with:"So I'm Jimmy Olsen with boobs now. Terrific."
- When Becky (Awesome Girl) is showing Robyn (Latex Scorpion) around her room, Robyn, with a very sheepish expression
, asks if she's allowed to bring girlfriend's over like she was a teenage girl instead of a supercriminal. - Their first mission together has them rescuing hostages from a kids tv studio with, "Barclay the Dinosaur" and "Nora the Adventurer" (a man in costume and a grown woman), as the hostages. Its as ridiculous as it sounds and that's before the guy dressed like a unicorn shows up.
- Later when the two are "thanking" Awesome Girl for the rescue, Barclay is still wearing his Dinosaur mask. The uncensored cut of the issue goes a step further, where he uses his "Barclay voice" during the act, to the bewilderment of the two ladies. He admits it's hard to stop.
