• When Thistle tries to figure out if Eric should be in the Sword contest or Archery contest, Grumph is like "Swords.", and Eric agrees, pointing out that the last time he used a bow, he'd taken out the windows on Grumph's tavern. While Thistle initially says that it wasn't bad, he quickly agrees with Grumph and Eric after learning that Eric had been aiming at a stand of trees that was nowhere close to Grumph's tavern.
• After crawling his way out of a slain demon's mouth, Thistle realizes that he has to come up with a One-Liner - "Anyone object to a do-over on that last throw? I got a bit distracted by the demons and I'd wager my target has flown half a kingdom away by now."
