* An implicit funny moment: It's been two years since Gert died. The Runaways got involved in the first ComicBook/CivilWar. This means from the perspective of the people of the Marvel Universe, ''ComicBook/WorldWarHulk'', ''ComicBook/SecretInvasion'', ''ComicBook/DarkReign'', ''ComicBook/{{Siege}}'', ''ComicBook/ChaosWar'', ''ComicBook/FearItself'', ''ComicBook/AvengersVsXMen'', ''ComicBook/{{Infinity}}'', ''ComicBook/{{Secret Wars|2015}}'', ''ComicBook/CivilWarII'', and many other world-threatening events happened in the span of ''two years''. It's a miracle people are still sane.

** During that same game, Karolina asks Nico who's the best kisser out of her, Chase, Victor and Alex. Nico tries to get out of it, but eventually snaps and says Karolina. [[GirlOnGirlIshot Chase is okay with this]].

* The opening scene where {{Comicbook/The Avengers}} start acting bizarrely out of character during a mission to stop the {{Comicbook/Incredible Hulk}} from destroying TheWhiteHouse. It turns out that it's just Alex playing an MMORPG with his online friends. Actually scratch that, ''all'' of the opening scenes introducing the main characters and their families are quite humorous as well.

The story itself isn't especially humorous, but the following issue reveals that she made her way back to the Hostel... and got grounded by Nico, who found her explanation of where she'd been to be absurd.

* In #24 Nico and Karolina decide to become superheroes, but in their first actual fight with criminals, Nico can't come up with any spells that she hasn't already used, and thus resorts to "'''DANCE!'''"... which backfires because the criminals want to dance with her and Karolina.
