• Kazu comes up with a Zany Scheme to ensure Iemochi a successor by having herself impregnated by a member of the Inner Chamber who knows her secret. Takiyama drastically misreads the room and believes Kazu is referring to her father-in-law Tensho-in, and proceeds to tell both of them it would be horribly immoral. Que two Beat Panels of both Tensho-in and Kazu staring at Takiyama before shouting it down as the just about dumbest idea they've both heard.
• Nakazawa and Tensho-in being absolutely FLOORED at how Nakano cleans up nicely after a few years of trading with the Americans. And also about how he shot up like a weed, and is taller than all of them now.
