• All of the out-takes of Casey Kasem on the "U2" single, but especially his reading of a comically serious long-distance dedication of Henry Gross' "Shannon" to a listener's deceased pet.^note Kasem, well known as a vegan and animal lover, felt that the timing — a tragic letter and song immediately following the Pointer Sisters' energetic "Dare Me" — was psychologically very bad. Professional DJs would tell you he was right, too.
  "Recently there was a death in our family. He was a little dog named Snuggles."
  • The old Negativland fan club email list was called Snuggles.
• "Favorite Things", which re-edits the song from The Sound of Music into some kind of Madness Mantra.

  Drunkards passing gas
  Children dying of disease
  Pepsi!
• The Censored for Comedy version of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" on These Guys Are From England And Who Gives A Shit in which every single expletive (even the echos from the delay effect) was replaced with a unique Sound-Effect Bleep... and moved to the end of the album, nearly ten minutes of silence later.
