• "South to drop off, moron!"
• Jack being bombarded with choices when trying to buy meat (and cheese) at the supermarket.
• Jack initially snubs soap operas but in the next scene he's deeply invested in it, knowing all the ins and outs of the storylines. Even the two older kids know a thing or two.
  Jack: Okay, listen, I'd appreciate it if you guys kept it down, okay? Because Nikki's gonna get the results of her blood test back today.
  Alex: Is it Kevin's baby?
  Jack: Not sure.
  Alex: Kevin's a skunk.
  Jack: But Kevin gets all the girls.
  Alex: He sure got Nikki!
• The overloaded clothes washer.
• The dream sequence where Jack is killed in a crime of passion. Especially the moment when he's shot, he merely says "Aw, shit.", then "I loved this shirt!" Followed by dropping to the floor near his own chalk outline... and wiggling into position.
• "Joan..." "Jack." "Caroline?" "Well, now that we've got the names straight..."
