While Migi & Dali may be a mystery series about a pair of twins trying to find and get revenge on the person who killed their mother, it was still written by the same person behind Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto, so one should expect some funny moments.
- Both Migi and Dali have a tendency to stick out their tongues when they're surprised. During Reiko's story about their mother, it is shown that Metry used to do it as well.
- During the twins' first dinner as Hitori, Youko opposes to getting him more of the same clothes that he's wearing now because he isn't Steve Jobs.
- When the Sonoyamas leave the house to prepare for Hitori's welcoming party, the twins look through the elderly couple's things where they find a pair of Youko's panties, mistake it for a kite and try to fly it indoors.
- The twins' attempt to murder their adoptive parents ends in failure after Dali realizes that the surprise the Sonoyamas had for Hitori was actually a new bike instead of a scalping and he points the magnifying glass away from them. However, he accidentally points it at Migi who ends up getting burned and jumps up into the air, screaming in pain before running around the room. The Sonoyamas mistake Migi's reaction to getting burned as Hitori being very happy about getting the bike.
- After Migi uses the rope trick to save Dali from falling into the barbed wire surrounding the Ichijou household, the two of them make it back into the house through a window where they catch Maruta and Karen in the middle of a romantic moment and place a trash bin on Maruta's head before the couple can kiss. When Maruta and Karen actually do kiss, the twins quickly cover each other's eyes so they don't have to see.
- Dali is about to tell Eiji what he plans to do to the latter for revenge when Migi runs into the room and asks him why ran back into a burning house. Dali says that he could ask his brother the same question and then points out that his brother's pants are literally on fire and Migi begins running around the room in pain while Eiji yells at him to get out.
- In the final chapter, Maruta and Akiyama freak out after they see Micchan's ghost communicate with Youko through writing messages in flour and all the twins have to say is that she's an old pen pal of theirs.
- Migi has Dali dress up as Sali to welcome Eiji back from the juvenile detention center. Dali then hides under the dinner table to sulk after everyone else starts laughing at the prank. He and Migi then get into a minor scuffle after the latter jokingly says that he won't hand over Sali which ends with Dali shoving the wig onto his brother, saying that he can have her now. Akiyama then claims that Dali wore the wig three times a week which results in him getting strangled.
- Migi has an Epic Fail up to eleven when he scores a 0 in basic math.
On a slightly lesser scale, his scores in Japanese and English are in the single digits (in particular, he spectacularly misspells the katakana for "sports" as "supoulute").
