- In the beginning of the episode, a samurai, an elderly mage, a barbarian warrior (really a shipwrecked admiral), a humanoid lion and a lizard-man were about to get into a brawl over which of the dishes they're enjoying goes best with white rice. How does Tenshu stop them? Threatens to not cook for them if they don't calm down. It works.
- Virtually every person's first taste of Tenshu's cuisine is some variation of shock, delight, or dumbstruck wonderment. Lionel takes the cake (pardon the pun) in episode 5 by trying to restrain himself from bellowing out his delight. He fails.
- Alphonse of episode 7 takes it even further when he tries Tenshu's new "Chicken Curry", Chewing the Scenery, as he raves about how delicious it is.
- Fardania in Episode 4 viewing Altorius, Heinrich, and even Adelheid as sinister as they enjoy their animal product-based dishes (due to elves being vegan).
- Kuro herself proves to be a source of comedy, with her stoic personality often contrasting with the unintentionally hilarious things she does:
- Her introduction to Nekoya after the somber recounting of her reasons behind her self-imposed exile has her entering Nekoya out of curiosity, assuming an elven form... except her lack of social graces and human interaction means she doesn't consider magicking herself some clothes, much to the mortified embarrassment of Alphonse, Tenshu and Aletta.
- She beats out Alphonse eating Chicken Curry, unaware that the "elf girl" he's eating with is actually a Dragon God of Death... and then Kuro continuing to wolf down more, complete with a Fast-Forward Gag. The light novels reveal that she actually repeated this 100 times by the time Red Queen pops into the restaurant for her beef stew.
- While partly a bit sad given how much Aletta deeply fears not having a job, her squeaky dismay at the prospect of Kuro being hired as a waitress (due to her mistaking it for her being replaced) is pretty hilarious, given how much she thinks it's related to her eating too much staff food. Master has to assure her that this isn't the case while Kuro is blissfully eating Chicken Curry with a smile.
- Kuro breaks up an imminent fight between Alicia, Hilda, and Ranija after they get into an argument over which type of cheesecake was the best by taking their weapons away...and then promptly startles Tenshu by bringing the weapons into the kitchen to store them away with her usual serious nature.
- Kuro is one of the Dragon Queens that are worshipped as gods by various groups, with her in particular being the Ethnic Goddess of vampires, but if you asked her about it she would likely just tell you not to cause a ruckus within Nekoya. Thinking about Kuro serving vampires and other god-dragon worshippers and telling them to behave themselves becomes incredibly funny when you realize she's basically enforcing a divine commandment.
- Aletta is working as Sarah's housekeeper when Sarah's sister stops by. She serves her some cookies from the Restaurant's upstairs neighbor that Tenshu gifted her. Upon seeing the fancy tin the cookies come in, they estimate that it might cost as much as 50 silver coins. Sarah's sister gives Aletta a gold coin to buy another tin of cookies. The episode ends with the revelation that the large tin costs the equivalent of 2 silver coins, the smaller one just one.
- In Episode 11 of Season 2, Aletta tells Kuro, who is in the middle of filling a mug of beer, to fill two more after that. Kuro is confused since only Artorius ordered beer, only for the two dwarves to ask for refills. Aletta predicted a drink order before the mind-reading dragon goddess did. This leaves Kuro completely flabbergasted.
