• Some of the things Margarita says in the "Sloth" novel are pretty funny when they're not terrifying, especially since they sound like something a ditzy teenage girl would actually say—like comparing love to jam.
• When Hanne asks Julia who the "Virgin Mother" that Calgaround worships is, Julia responds by asking her to look at a picture of Meta on the wall.
  Hanne: Is that a portrait of you?
  • When Julia says no, Hanne comes to the assumption that the only other person it could be is Germaine.
• Heidemarie storming into the inn where Hanne was staying and accidentally holding her up at gunpoint while looking for her kidnapped idol.
  Brigitta: ...Your name wasn't Rin Chan, was it?
• Heidemarie as a Justea officer in general. Her conversation where Hob chews her out for the above-mentioned inn storming sounds like something out of Lethal Weapon—save for the part where Heide skips work to go see idol concerts.
  Heidemarie: I believe in her. I know…that Rin Chan is no lip syncher—
  Hob: I don't care about that.
• Elluka starts singing during the showdown with Julia/Mayrana in order to increase her magical power. But because of the magical wards Mayrana set up, it's not doing anything.
  With that she was just some weirdo singing in front of an enemy.
  Elluka stopped singing.
• Gumillia's absolute shock and despair when discovering that Rin Chan lip-syncs.
