Volume 1

- The phone booth ghost seeing Keitaro and company with a slasher smile.
- Yayoi has such a bad reputation at the Awamiya Shrine that its matron throws sake at her on sight and tries to physically toss her out.
- Yayoi tries to stealthily cut Keitarou's fingernail.
- Keitarou's thoughts as he runs frantically from a horde of ghosts.Thank God I'm on top of my cardio.
Volume 2
- Eiko completely flipping out when Yayoi walks in on her stalking Keitarou. Once Yayoi realizes what's going on, she calls it cringe (Though she gains interest once she hears the voices of spirits).
- Yayoi and Eiko acting like radio show hosts.Eiko: How do you think Keitarou's first friendship foray will go?
Yayoi: I'm more interested in how he'll mess it up. - One exorcism requires Keitarou to sit naked in a car while his hand is on fire.
- Yayoi and Keitarou decide to settle an argument with a fishing competition, Yayoi declaring coolly "I don't give up on the things that matter to me. Ever." Then she reels in a frog.
Volume 3
- Keitarou trying to help Ai study by having a competition where she's rewarded with donut holes for getting questions right…. only for her to get all of them wrong.
- Eiko practically teleporting over to AI’s apartment the moment Yayoi tells her that Keitarou's with a girl declaring that she needs to protect his virginity.
