• At the height of the car chase when they have to bail out into the middle of the frozen pond, D'Agosta almost goes under the ice and ends up soaked in frigid water. When he looks over, Pendergast is standing calmly on the ice, completely dry. When D'Agosta asks how he managed not to go into the water, Pendergast merely remarks "Perhaps my timing was better."
