Funny / Cockneys vs. Zombies

Go To

  • Mickey punting the zombie baby like a football and sending it flying right into a billboard!
  • Hamish "Running" successfully away from his zombie pursuers.
  • This exchange:
Eric: Those things are vampires! We need crucifixes, garlic, silver, holy water, and Christopher Lee!
Ray: No, you sloppy tart, those things are fucking zombies!
    • Funnier when you realize he should have been asking for Peter Cushing instead, considering he's the one playing the vampire killer while Lee is Dracula.
  • Two zombified mobs of rival soccer team supporters run into each other, and start clumsily fighting each other.
"I don't believe this. Even when they're zombies they can't stand each other."
  • The first time Emma kills a zombie, she swats at it with a shovel and says, "Go away, you...weird thing!" before bashing its head in.
  • The fact that Mickey just wanders around with a zombie's jaw clamped on his arm.
  • Tuppence's backstory, shown in flashback: he went to prison because, while he was holding up a cashier, he set his gun down to show off his scars. Naturally, she hit him in the face with the gun and called the cops.
  • Andy, who can't figure out the safety on his gun, frantically asking Katy how to "turn it on."
  • Katy, despite obviously being female even in her construction disguise, wears one of the fake mustaches Tuppence brought (and keeps her big silver hoop earrings). There's also Mickey, who puts one on despite already having a mustache and beard.
  • The reaction of both robbers and hostages, when they open the bank doors and discover that somehow the zombies overran everything in less than two minutes.
  • Ray asking Emma if she's a friend of his grandchildren, only for her to say quite nonchalantly, "Oh no, I met them at the robbery this morning."
  • It's easy to miss, but when Katy shoots the zombie that's wandered onto the bus, she gives a Shout-Out to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and says, "No ticket."
  • Granddad Ray's double-take when Peggy promises to "kill him stone fucking dead" if he were bitten; as she puts it, they're in enough trouble without him turning into a zombie.
  • Doreen's weapon of choice for fighting zombies? A giant kitchen whisk.
  • The movie's Signature Scene of the slow, walker-using Hamish being chased by an equally slow, shuffling zombie, complete with dramatic music.
