• It's mentioned early on that Pyrrha cut off Tyrian's tail. A bit later, Blake remembers how she convinced Pyrrha that his tail would regenerate if she cut it off, meaning that the only reason she did it was because she assumed he'd be fine.
• Cinder gives Emerald a make-work job to distract her from her problems with her fake "real" parents. The job is simple: Collect a flash drive from Roman Torchwick. When she meets him in Junior's club, she covers her body in eyes, drives all the other patrons from the club, demands Roman's hat, gives the hat back because she doesn't actually want it, and then asks him to tell Cinder she did a good job. And then she doubles back because she forgot the flash drive.
• The morning after the party, Cinder and Summer are arguing over it when Emerald comes in screaming about how Jaune has been poisoned. The girls are freaking out, and don't understand why Cinder is merely annoyed. Turns out it's just a hangover.
• While Ruby, Weiss, Emerald, and Neo are out on a double date, their chaperones ask if they should be worried about how much ice cream Weiss is eating. Emerald waves it off; Weiss can't get sick from overeating. At worst she'll spawn a Grimm from all the excess mass, but it takes a lot of food for that to happen. And then she notices that Weiss is surrounded by a lot of empty ice cream bowls. Weiss promptly spawns a Grimm by accident, all the other patrons in the restaurant run away screaming, and Emerald kills the Grimm in one hit as if cleaning up a spilled glass.
