Hey, it's not all drama and sadness.

  • In the postgame, you find Meloo at the edge of the lake where the spirit resides. Turns out her goal wasn't to rewrite history like you feared; she just remembered the story you told her about Karon being sucked in and tossed a bunch of random crap into the lake, hoping it would also turn to gold and make her rich.

    • What's more, after you all resolve to go home, the camera lingers on the empty lake... and the spirit appears again, covered in the miscellaneous items Meloo tossed in, including a pot-helmet with an axe and a knife stuck in it.

  • When the perversion-prone Gau has to take Shiro's place as an aspiring priestess of Meldine by way of using her shape-changing earrings, the very first thing he does when the spell activates is check whether the bust he now has is real. It is. Complete with squishing noises. Shiro is not amused.

  • During Chapter 4, Kuro decides to have a dress made for the Hero so he can pass as a woman. Except she did not specify what KIND of dress she needed to the local tailor. He makes a very skimpy seashell bikini. She is NOT amused. Kuro lets you keep her dress after the chapter ends.
    • If you happen to be wearing the dress when Shiro makes a surprise visit later, she'll recognize the dress as belonging to Kuro and ask if you're a pervert.

  • At the end of Chapter 7, during the otherwise horrifying demon attack on Rispadar, you see a barrier go up on one side with a bunch of boss-level monsters being fought by a lone figure that you don't see, at least not right away, and holding their own. You can actually help in this fight (if you have ranged spells or attacks). Should you defeat the monsters (which is relatively easy since they won't attack you), you get to meet the hero...ine, whose sprite is partly obscured by a tree. Given the bread you receive, it's heavily implied to be baker's daughter. If you chat with her again, the game will comment on her rack.
