It may be a souls-like but it’s the most light hearted one yet.

  • The fact that the story kicks off cause Kril doesn't know what things like taxes are.
  • There are various handy accessibility options in the menu to help make the game easier. Said options include shell durability, resisting fall damage, and probably the most convenient option, give Kril a gun. As in Kril can use a large handgun for a shell. He sticks himself in the ammo chamber at the bottom of the handle. It's the most powerful weapon in the game with infinite use, high durability, and can literally one-shot anything including bosses. We swear by all that is holy under the deep blue sea, we are not making this up!
  • The Moon Snail. She will be our mysterious mystical mentor for the evening and she’s so dedicated to the schtick she gives the hammy narration you’d expect. And yes, she narrates herself as this beautiful goddess.
  • Before a patch to fix the exploit, you could trick Pagurus the Ravenous into stepping onto a Bobbit worm trap and watch as he got thrown around and eaten while whimpering with Kril's voice clip.
  • The descriptions for the shells. A party hat is believed to be the tip from a discarded spear and a tennis ball is believed to have been made to imitate algae. Descriptions like that pretty much give the idea of how the denizens of the deeps view the trash.
  • The various branded garbage items you come across have the best names.
    • Take a closer look and read just what it says on the various packaging. Just try not to laugh. The best is what it says on the "I Swear to God if this isn't Butter, I’m seriously going to lose it". In addition to ingredients, there’s a whole paragraph that can only be called inane ramblings by someone who's so passionate about butter that they really are about to lose it.
    • There's a readable qr code somewhere in New Carcinia. what does it lead to?
  • Just how trash in general is viewed down in New Carcinia. If you think the shell descriptions are outrageous, a cereal box with a kiddie maze game on the back is believed to be an honest-to-shucking-goodness treasure map.
  • That pearl Kril finds that he thought could impress Duchess Magista? It's worth less than a mere bread claw at the pawn shop. Only a measly 100 microplastics. This bears repeating: a truly rare and pristine jewel is worth less than a literal piece of junk in the shop.
  • In an otherwise tense scene, the pinball machine that makes up the greater part of Roland's barge displays "tilt" while it falls down the Mouth of The Drain.
  • Snail Sanctum – the adaptation collected from Petroch, the False Moon – allows Kril to make a substitute shell out of pure Umami until he can find a real shell to use. The description of the adaptation claims that it's modeled after the user's "ideal shell." When Kril uses it, the Umami construct is a dead ringer for his old conch shell without the bandage. Doubles as slightly heartwarming.
  • Just how Firth dies. Kril comes across him having survived his Megaton Punch meant to finish him, the blue hermit crab trying to weasel his way out of likely getting another beatdown only to get squashed under the falling garbage. What falls on him in particular? A boot-shaped liquor bottle labeled "Boot Liquor."
