Fridge Horror
- At which point does Jimmy stop living? When the seed fell into the stomach acid, when his blood became watermelon pulp, when his stomach became a watermelon, when his transformation finished, or when he splattered? It could have been anytime...
- Why does the nurse have a chainsaw to deal with the vines growing out of Jimmy's nose and ears? Have previous students turned into watermelons in her office before?
- Why did Jimmy go from panicking into glee after escaping the nurse? Did he feel safe, or was it something more?
- Are the kids in the ending aware that the watermelon they are eating is Jimmy? Did they see the whole spectacle? Do they even care?
- The final scene is the cherry on the Fridge Horror sundae. Small 2D vines appear on the bodies of the kids eating Jimmy's remains as the screen fades to black, implying that they will suffer the same fate.
