For a LLB on a children-focused book series, the Yogurt Extended Universe has quite a bit of Fridge Horror.
- The very first story of the series has a middle schooler drugging several of his classmates and forcing them into pornography in order to create amateur yogurt pornography for his own entertainment. Thanks to Greg’s actions, Sandy doesn’t manage to drug any of the girls, but the implication is that he is willing to try again and again in order to get his way. Good freaking lord.
- The entire concept of A Man With No Words: you find out your eccentric great uncle staying with your family for a while (with him staying in your room due to a lack of space), only to suddenly disappear a few days later. When you search your room afterward, you find a list of attractive classmates you made missing, and you start hearing about staking incidents involving the same people on that list. Moreover, you then find out that your “eccentric” family member is legitimately insane. Thank god that Great Uncle Arthur didn’t go any further than stalking, but still horrifying.
