At the end of the film, it looks like Mitch and his family & friends will be OK. It's in the Morolto family's best interest to let him live, since his death would result in their criminal activities being exposed, and he did them a service by revealing how the firm had overbilled them. However, the other lawyers in the firm are not so secure. The Moroltos could decide to dispose of them, and their families, as a precaution to prevent them becoming FBI witnesses in order to avoid jail time, or as punishment for swindling them through overbilling. In any case, the Feds will probably end up investigating a lot of mob hits involving former Bendini, Lambert & Locke attorneys.
