O'Brian timeshifts to find his own dead body under a sheet. He then immediately runs into a future Bashir, who greets him with, "Am I glad to see you!" Seems like a sanguine response to running into your dead friend, until you realise Bashir was probably waiting around, desperately hoping a timeshifting version of O'Brian would show up so he could send a message back and save him.
O'Brian: You need to run a basilar arterial scan. Bashir: Why? O'Brian: Because if you don't, I'm gonna die in less than five hours. Bashir: Who told you that? O'Brian: You did. In the future. Bashir: Oh. Well, who am I to argue with me?
