- Fridge Logic: Gopher's ultimate fate, along with Burbridge figuring out what the golden ball really is. They were just stalking through the area, Gopher got caught by the meat grinder and Burbridge just said in desperation something in tune of "Make it stop". So it did - leaving Gopher mangled, but alive, while offering the Vulture an idea of what to do next time when visiting the area.
- Fridge Horror: It's just as likely that the meat grinder is perfectly avoidable, but Vulture got the wrong impression that it requires a Human Sacrifice to get the golden ball working or to even get close enough to activate it, rather than those being true.
