During the haunting "If things were different" monolog by Bundy he states openly that Elijah Wood's character (Bill Hagmaier) could absolutely stalk and possibly murder women as well "If things were different". This is possibly a reference to a role where Elijah Wood played a character with many similarities too Ted Bundy.
