- Whirl's 'last words'. He's holding up what looks like a match and here are bottles all over the floor, it's just that it's liquid Energon instead of petrol. He's saying things like "Shut up for a moment while I say my piece." Voices in his head, maybe? He tells the bodies on the walls that they've helped him offload his frustrations. He's been coming there and beating them up instead of other people? But why does he attack Cyclonus? Because Cyclonus caught him in an emotional, suicidal state, and he's afraid that Cyclonus will tell everybody and everybody will see him as weak.
- When he tells Cyclonus that the Sweeps corpses were never 'alive-alive', then tells Ratchet that it was Cyclonus who was desecrating corpses - it's once again obvious he's kind of panicky about people thinking there's something wrong with his emotional state, but at the same time knows deep down there's something wrong - something you do see in people who are depressed. They know deep down there's something wrong but they don't want anybody else knowing. Whirl isn't a psychopath - he's a manic-depressive.
- How to say goodbye and mean it... means that you're never going to see them again. A lot of characters talk about 'goodbye' and at the end of the issue the ship blows up, and from the perspective of those on Cybertron they're all dead...
