Fridge Brilliance
- As Lee Chang watches the infected people chasing him sink into the water, if you look closely you can actually see the worms fleeing from their hosts as they drown in the water.
- The disposal of the bodies never reanimated despite being bitten by the king, it's likely because these bodies were dumped into cold water as a way of hiding evidence, therefore no infected were brought back.
Fridge Horror
- The poor boatman who got bitten and then forcefully pushed off of the boat out of fear he will come back and kill everyone. The thing is the group find out later that the virus can be stopped if the infected person submerges themselves in cold water. However, the man likely didn't know how to swim and so not only was his death entirely avertable, but had he known how to swim the group would have found out earlier how to stop the virus from spreading.
