Despite only being in middle school, Isabella is already a master of lying and manipulation, knows how to pull off Wounded Gazelle Gambits like a pro, can be selfish and even sadistic at times, and has a bad track record with pets, albeit one that's Played for Laughs (she's had 6 kittens and a turtle run away from home). If she were in another series that took itself more seriously, she'd probably be a budding sociopath.
Isabella's mean, bullying older brothers are the reason why she's all of the above. She was already violent as a small child, beating up a mall Santa for not bringing her a panda and a kid in class for laughing at her last name. What does that say about their parents if they were so useless at stopping their two older sons from picking on their little sister that she had to become a selfish, Ax-Crazy master manipulator just to survive living with them? What the hell goes on in that house?
